If you are an individual, or just a small group, you can definitely suggest creating a new team with me!

I am a professional game engine engineer, with more than three years of AAA-level engine work on proprietary engine. I also do some game design on my free time, which includes narrative design.

I began my game dev journey as an amateur composer, so I could also help with that if needed.

Ill be quitting my job, so I'll be available for the most of the jam except 25th, because I'll be taking a long flight to Toronto.

I speak fluent English and native Korean.

Hey Alegruz,

I'm Evan, I compose music for games.  I have a small network of talented individuals that can fill roles for a team.
I'd love to work on a jam with you. Here's my portfolio: https://evanjroosmann.wixsite.com/portfolio

Please feel free to reach out to me on Discord, mines: MusicbyEJR

It's my dream to work with a programming veteran!  The Experienced programmers don't usually have time to create Educational content. So working with one might be the best learning opportunity I have.

I'm free this entire year, I'm delaying signing up for colleague later, to see if this year I can make it in Game dev.  Are you ok with using Godot? you can use any language, a lot of people made games with Rust and C# using Godot. If you're gonna use another engine, then I'm open to increasing my proficiency in other languages and trying different game engines. If you're making it in another engine or language, then tell me before hand, so I can get ready before the game jam begins.

Although I think Godot might be super powerful with a game engine engineer or one specialized in architecture, Godot has so much untapped power.  It's designed in a way that you can easily change the architecture, do low level stuff when optimization is needed (Godot Servers, RenderingServer/PhysicsServer..), and use different frameworks and combine languages.

Here's my discord: yasrbaani

Are you thinking of creating an educational game?

(1 edit)

Teaching is something I very much enjoy.

But how would that be for the jam? If you want to make a game outside the game jam, I have no problem, we could do that.

Edit: I don't think I understood what you meant by _thinking of creating_.
