Looking for a Team!

Hi everyone! I'm a sophomore high school student looking to join a team for this upcoming game jam.

While I may still be in high school, I've spent a significant amount of time developing my programming and game development skills through independent learning and personal projects. I have experience with Python, Java, C++, C#, and Unity 6, and I've completed Unity's Junior Programmer Pathway through Unity Learn.

Game development is something I'm genuinely passionate about, and much of what I know comes from the time I've invested outside of school learning new technologies, improving my programming skills, and studying game design. I'm always eager to learn, work well with others, and contribute wherever I can.

I'm primarily interested in programming and gameplay development, but I'm also happy to help with testing, debugging, balancing, documentation, and general game design discussions.

If you're looking for a motivated teammate who's excited to learn, contribute, and help create a great game, feel free to reach out. I'd love to be part of your team!

I primarily specialize in unity programming, but I am open to any opportunity that presents itself.

I can do some pixel art, I mainly do inanimate objects like rocks, trees, nature, etc. so I could help with that, I can do some basic people and animals. But I try to mostly stick to nature. I don’t have a team right now, but I could join your team. I don’t really do programming/coding, so I would mainly do art.

I can also do some basic instrumental music using beepbox.

Thanks for reaching out! Your pixel art and music skills sound like they'd be a great addition to the team. I'm mainly focused on programming and game development, so having someone who can create environmental assets, sprites, and music would help cover areas I'm less experienced in. I'd be interested in teaming up. Do you have any examples of your artwork or music that I could take a look at?

Also, some basic questions:

  • What time zone are you in?
  • How should I contact you?
  • Do you have Game Jam experience? (Completely fine if not)

here are a few examples of my work (mind you, i am not a professional artist, i am still a beginner.)

and here is some of my music

also not a professional music maker, still learning.

I have been apart of 3 or 4 jams.

I will have to look up what time zone I am in. And I will get back to you about how we can communicate.

Thanks for letting me join your team, first time I have been apart of a game jam team.

ok, just realized that you can’t actually access the music, here’s some different music that I made. https://bush-studios.itch.io/sci-fo
