Hi Pixel Frog, I first want to thank you for providing the community with these awesome assets. They are great quality and it's such a great thing you are doing for everyone trying to learn game dev.

I'm fairly new to game development and I wanted to ask you a question around 9-Slice.

I downloaded your assets and I noticed in your buttons there is a png that is a 3x3 grid of a button but there are gaps. And I was wondering if those gaps were intential or not. So I tried to play around with slicing it with the Unity sprite editor and I was just not getting the right look. I noticed the details on your borders were unique and if you stretched them with the 9 slice it would be bad + the gaps were showing up.

So then I thought perhaps it's meant to be titled? But I couldn't understand how to approach this problem. I've tried working with uGUI which is a pain in the butt, and UITK does not support tiled, it only supports stretching.

Any help or direction or some reading I could do would be amazing.

Again, thank you for your awesome work.

It's still work in progress...

It is going to be a great reference, once complete.
