Do I need to know how to code to use this template?
You don't need to be a programmer. The template is designed so that most of your work happens inside four configuration passages — StoryInit, Config_NPCs, Config_Quests and Config_Places. A included 14-page User Guide walks you through every feature with code examples so you can build your world without touching the engine.
What's included in the purchase?
You get the full source code (clean and commented), a 14-page User Guide covering every widget and system, a CSS Theme Engine with easy color customization, and a playable tutorial embedded in the code so you can see every mechanic in action before building on top of it.
What do I need to run this template?
Twine 2 and SugarCube v2. Both are free. If you're not familiar with SugarCube, the official documentation is a good starting point before diving in. Check out the Twine Cookbook for an easy introduction.
How complex is the sandbox system?
The template ships with a 24h time system, NPC schedules, a trading economy, reputation engine, quest log, world upgrades, character creation, and a dynamic event generator — all pre-built and documented. You configure the content, the engine handles the rest.
Will this template receive updates?
Yes. The template is actively maintained. Purchasers get free lifetime access to all future updates, including new mechanics, visual improvements and optimizations.
I bought the template. Where do I start?
Play the included tutorial first — it's built directly into the source code and shows every mechanic in context. Then open StoryInit and read through the configuration passages. The User Guide is your reference from there.
