we fuckin' did it, how's everyone feeling now?? what did you did have the most fun with or learn for your next jam? i wanna hear abt everyone's games :)
I’ve had a bit of time to reflect on what I submitted (finished it about two weeks ago!) so I think I’m in a bit more of a restrained position then most people.
although I initially conceived of my entry to be someone “inundated with noise” the final project ended up not being noisy at all! Which is something that I’d like to capture in writing . I’d like to once again give a concentrated effort into making things feel busy to a much greater level going forwards.. if I can.
Until now, I have been focusing on deconstructing the main chara over time, ie exploring how some kind of vice can destroy oneself over time, but honestly I think this era may be getting a bit stale.. it kind of forces the structure of stories regardless of content to revolve arround a “punchline” persay, and always near the end. Unless I can find a new structure for things of this nature, i feel like I should move away from this being the motivation for things and tell more morally grey / relative stories that don’t nessecarily have a goal aside from the moment and moods they inhabit.
And of course finally I’d like to rxplore improvisation and changing things as they go, I’m a bit of a meticulous pre planner…
I’m so excited to read everyone’s entry’s and very surprised we got so many. To be honest I was thinking 25 would be the number, but everyone nearly doubled it. Crazy…
