Its pretty decent.

There are problems though, Whenever I was watering the bugs and i was clicking and I would get an upgrade I would unwillingly choose an upgrade because i was clicking my screen then i wouldn't know what was going on.

The bugs would go offscreen which was kinda annoying because i couldn't hit them

I really like the idea of the game, I actually had a similar idea for a future game i would make so thas pretty cool

(I think my game broke at some point because bugs wouldn't spawn but i am not sure if it was just end game or it was actually broken)

Fun but gets repetitive though I'd love to see more upgrades and enemies.

My only direct critique is that it felt fairly repetitive without anything to break up the experience. Maybe something like a second target to defend would have spiced things up just that little bit more.

A simple concept executed well with a super charming art-style. I think my favourite part was that once the big bugs showed up I felt like I had to actually work to keep them away, it was balanced pretty well in that regard for a 1 week jam. I'm looking forward to where you take the game from here :D

I'm on linux and it worked fine. I like this little game. I would have liked if it had some more info in like a hud, so i know how many enemies are left, or exp to the next skill. It felt like i was shooting enemies and didn't have a "carrot" or hook to keep me engaged.

I developed this on Mac and couldn't get itch.io's web upload to work at all, so sorry if other platforms are broken.

Update: verified that windows exe works.
