Dreadknight Garen Pixel Art

The design is heavily influenced by the "Death Knight" archetype—specifically the tragic fall of Arthas Menethil. Just as Arthas traded his light for the cold power of the Scourge, Dreadknight Garen represents a darker, more cinematic version of the character. A top-down look at Dreadknight Garen.

This skin is a great nod to the Warcraft lore that helped shape the early days of League of Legends. I wanted to translate that dark, cinematic "Death Knight" energy into a pixel art animation.

Free Community Asset (Non-Commercial)

I’m releasing this asset for free as a resource for fellow developers and artists. Whether you're building a fan project, a top-down prototype, or studying the frames, it’s yours to use!

Usage Note: Since this is fan art based on League of Legends IP, this pack is strictly for non-commercial, personal projects and educational study.

Once a valiant hero, Dreadknight Garen fell to the promise of power great enough to save his land. Now, twisted by the corrupting magic of his Master, he commands the frozen legions in their march upon the living. Only desolation remains in his wake.

One soul claimed. More will follow.

The animation looks really, good other than some sword artifacts on some of the slashes. It is a little hard to see with the really low contrast background

Thanks for noticing! The smear effect isn’t fully optimized yet, but I’ll continue adding more content and refining the design.
