Dodging everything was quite fun! It was quite fun to focus on dodging alone instead of having to shoot back like in similar games :)

For the most part, I did not even bother parrying, dodging felt better.
One issue: an enemy spawned right in front of me and I died, so that was a little frustrating (I think it was near a wall? on a new day), but that's just a typical game jam bug.
Anyways, good job, really enjoyable!

I like the light mechanic a lot! The gecko is cute and made me want to save him. I feel like the parry kept you in place for a bit too long though

Pretty cool! The light mechanic is super creative. I like the music, really sets the mood. I feel like I could use more of a cue for when I'm being hit, like a sound effect. The animations are so nice for the gecko! I love the parry. Good job nice work 👍
