I used explore then a blue question mark popped up directly below. I tried to return back to the vault but the question mark is blocking the yes choice. This is on the latest android version 

Wow disregard this post. If anyone is new to the game like me, just click explore again and it should move the marker.

Wow, that's unusual. Apparently, no luck with the spawn point. I'm glad that the problem has been resolved.
