Wouldn't hitting the target number be a good thing in a game where you want to be as close as possible to the number?

if you reach the target you should be at dist 0 and thus can at worst have a tie, it might be a bug if you lost 

I was at dist 0, they were at some other dist, and would always win. I guess it is a bug, but it was always the case in my playthrough on the online version of the game.

Ok i applied a patch it should be much better, if you have the issue again could you send a screenshot so i can check the logs
