When I run this game under Linux (CachyOS), RenPy always hangs after a while, always on a first character of dialog text ... and then takes a minute or so before it continues. The Windows version works fine.

Eternum does not have that problem on my system. So I don't think it's an issue between my distro and RenPy in general.
