What is the differences between charm and tickle damage, pain/crush/psychic/shadow damage ? I mean they can all decrease will power and charm/tickle damage can additionally increase DP, but what side effect that makes them stand out from each other ?

Generally, the only difference between damage types is that each enemy is weak to some elements and resistant to others.
