I'm trying to progress in the manor, but no matter what I do, I can't get Jessica to possess me. If I stay still when she spawns, she stops getting closer and despawns. If I continue walking, she just follows me and then despawns. And if I start walking toward her, she despawns. Not to mention, most of the time she doesn't spawn at all.
What am I doing wrong?
Did you find Yuri in the manor yet? The black one doesn't do anything it just disappears if you look at it, if you haven't saved Yuri then the red ghost won't spawn which is what you need. to get Jessica's form to save Yuri she will be in either one of two places on your first playthrough she should be in the basement in the hidden library hug the wall and press forward till you walk into the room. if she's not there then she'll be in the ghost corridor which means you'll need to come back to the manor so you can get the eastside key unlock the door and unlock the door on the top middle right, she should be there if she's not in the basement you need a flashlight and batteries for either.
So i can't get into the Basement to find Yuri as i'd need batteries/a light source as going into the darkness will make you get a special scene, but i can't go into the library because i need the red ghost to turn into Jessica, enter her room and get the key there (+ the lantern is there).. damn well i guess i'll see if there's a way i haven't thought of yet
Well yes but you can just buy batteries and get a flashlight from the safe, it's what I did just make sure you got the combination go up and to the right don't even need a key. That or you go could go through the lab and get a flashlight up to you batteries can also be found in the lab too, if you need the combination grab the west key and theirs a room with it the one with two beds.
