Cider on Windows is junk. It's nearly completely broken. It's sad too as I really liked Cider before all these issues soon cropped up. Is there anyone working on this junk heap anymore or is this abandonware? I'll give you a list of issues, dearest developers.
1. Some random gray & white bar will appear at the very top of the window if you click off of it and it's on another monitor or just simply in the background. It will then stay like that until you resize the window or restart the program.
2. When you're listening to the infinite queue one song will end, the next will start, but it will immediately be overwritten by the next song in queue while the data for the song that's supposed to playing is still active, including the playtime and lyrics.
3. When maximizing the program will sometimes only take up 3/4s of the screen, if this occurs it will not stop until you restart the program.
4. The program starts in a fake maximized mode, instead of just starting maximized. That means when you're moving your mouse on the edges it allows you to resize the window. This doesn't happen when it's maximized properly.
5. If you hover over the seekbar it says "Please enter a valid value. The two nearest valid values are x and y" (the numbers change as the songs continues)
6. Playlists never update if you change them from another device. Pressing the implemented refresh button doesn't help, you just have to pray that it randomly updates.
7. Volume will audibly sound low, but then you move the volume settings by 1% and the audible volume will go up by like 10%. In general the volume of tracks is extremely loud, most songs I play at 15%.
