Feel free to use my assets/scripts/maps however you wish. (there are thousands of assets - more added every week)

I've recently made many more doors, windows, 3D models, skyboxes, weapons and enemy sprites, fsm, scripts etc (see video links) since but I've just updated the asset pack to the latest version, if anyone is interested (22/Jun2025).

The current scripts include a working elevator, swimming underwater, a coded/puzzle door, event-based sound nodes and animated HUDs.
I made several FSM's for enemies and decorations, animated fish, animated vegetation, transparent (dithered) windows) etc .
I have 2 maps included to demo the assets.  1 is a simple tower-block with everything in one place. 2 is a more complex WIP game-map.
Enemies include 2D Robots, humans, giant insects, animals, mechs, Hundreds of weapons, exploding barrels, breaking glass windows etc. (Literally thousands of hours of work).

I'm currently working on a project to convert "google streetview" into default 3D cube assets (building facades), for efpse/ezgb, made with sketchup, to make roofing and realistic buildings very quick and simple. I have around 250 low-poly building-fronts so far. I can add them as a pack if people want them (see video for quick demo).

Nice one Clark. This is a dream come true.

VP - The download link seems to be broken

Ah, it was!  Thanks Jcastles, I've just fixed it today.

*This was a perfect time for me to upload the updated version - there is a LOT more stuff (around twice as many assets, improved the older assets and added a few scripting and FSM examples and some tips/tutorials)... and my open game-project folder, as a demo.
Filesize is 1.99GB

Here's a new link to the updated pack...

Please let me know if it works! Cheers.

You're welcome gtsgames!
In the assets pack, check out the tutorials folder, for more tips on the methods I use.
To make the skyboxes, I use 2 free online tools tools..

1- https://www.manyworlds.run/
2- https://matheowis.github.io/HDRI-to-CubeMap/

Open manyworlds and add a text description for the skybox you want.  (eg: post-apocalyptic concrete wasteland covered in ivy and grass)
Then save the HDRI map it generates...
Next, simply upload that HDRI map to the cubemap generator, select the output quality to convert it into a skycube.

I'm using 256 pixels as an output setting for my skyboxes in but set it to whatever you like. (usually either: 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024 pixels, which is the resolution for each side of the cube).

I spend an hour or so each time (it's quite good fun) generating some skyboxes, then test them in a scene to see how they look. I keep the best ones and delete the useless ones. If the horizon sometimes looks too high or too low in a test scene, I'll edit the HDRI manually (using a basic graphics app) to shift the horizon up/down, then feed it back into skybox generator again and test the new version. I guess I could try adding "central horizon" in the description to see if that helps.

As a tip using manyworlds: if you stumble on a good result, you can use that same text description again to make multiple scenes, by adding a random seed/string to the end of the description.... eg:
"post-apocalyptic concrete wasteland covered in ivy and grass 6784r5t6"
"post-apocalyptic concrete wasteland covered in ivy and grass dcft5t6yf"

Sure thing https://mega.nz/file/gLEkyDyY#0jGV83K_0LHnISXuq9vCXBs9onMhx1UziniGnGSJRQE
Use them however you like, just be aware that these are my own assets from my game which will probably be released at some point. If you have any questions related to my scripts, dev-process and asset creation methods, I'd be happy to help you... or if you want help with any weapons, enemies, assets, music, sounds, scripts, fsm etc, let me know and I'll do my best to make them for you. I added some little tutorials in my upload too, along with an example games/maps. The asset pack is fairly large, but I've actually made around 50%+ more since then, which I might also add/upload in the future (as they're not included in this pack). I'm fairly well versed in efpse - I use it every day, so I'll be fairly confident in addressing your queries (although I don't want to hijack this ezgb forum with too much efpse stuff)...

Just downloaded hour ago and already I've learned very useful things, very nice of you to share these. I've been doing sprites and building blocks for my game for months - now it's time to patch it all together and actually build the gameplay

Glad it helped - good luck with your game!

Hi Could you reupload it Pls?

I would benefit from them! Have you considered putting them on github or somewhere you don't have to micromanage a mega account?

I have just downloaded your assets will experimenting with it soon, may I know more about the game you are making? Are you going to release it on steam?

Hi - I hope the assets will be useful to you.
The game I'm making is a story inspired by the U.K.'s Windscale Nuclear disaster.
Here are some demo videos... https://www.dailymotion.com/petergtinsley

It's nowhere near ready for release yet but it will eventually be released on Steam.
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks

Thanks for the info, and thanks for the assets good sir! I hope your game will success in the future, too bad I don't have much free time to develop a my dream game like you did.

Thank you! Even if you just did just 30 minutes a day, you'll eventually have a game.

Are these still available or have they been deleted permanently? The Mega link says they've been deleted unfortunately :/

Edit: I'm dumb and didn't read that they were being taken down to save space. Would it be possible to send them to me and/or re-upload them temporarily? Many thanks.

Hi, if you're still open to share the assets I can't thank you enough

dear VP games, i hope you're doing alright! would it be possible for you to share the assets again ? i just started looking into efpse and it feels like it would be so useful to understand certain things! and i also hope we will be able to play the game you developped with the engine!! have a nice day :)
