ProtoWords is an absolute joy to write in. From launch, you are dropped into an immersive, distraction-free environment that makes it easy to slip into a creative headspace. The subtle keystroke sounds paired with the ambient background music are a great touch making it easy to just let ideas flow. It’s a perfectly setup for capturing ideas without overthinking them.
I downloaded the trial and couldnt resist buying it outright.
One of my favorite features is the ability to prevent editing. It’s been incredibly helpful for keeping me in writing mode, preventing me from constantly tweaking or second-guessing ideas as I’m working. Being able to focus purely on getting words out has made the whole process feel more natural and productive.
I’m really excited to see ProtoWords come to other platforms so I can install it wherever I please. If I had one wish, it would be for an eventual iPad release. Being able to carry this writing environment with me on the go would be incredible. I’d honestly buy the app again just to make that a reality.
