Writer interested in joining a team!

A friend of mine posted about this jam on Discord and it caught my interest right away, the sort of thing that I'd love to write fiction about. I'm aware that itch.io is able to host a huge variety of content, including literature, but seeing that it's focused on small games had me thinking it would be nice to push out into new territory.

The problem is that I've got more or less no experience or skill when it comes to visual art, or game design and programming (I have some coder knowledge, but that's mostly for statistical modelling - thank you, STEM degree). I like to consider myself a good writer, though, even if it's mostly just silly fanfiction (some of it about humans loving robots, or mechs).

So I had the idea that I could reach out and offer my services as a writer to interested parties - maybe you're an artist or developer who doesn't have a writer, in which case I would love to talk to you and see if we can work together; I have a few vague ideas of my own but it would be cool helping flesh others' ideas out, or developing them in tandem. It could be a lot of fun working in a team and exploring a new artistic medium.

I can be reached most easily on Discord or Twitter - I have the same username on both of those. Excited to hear from anyone interested!

Yours,
-Claire

(Sorry to the moderators if networking like this is discouraged!)

ETA: I'm based in Australia and usually online/awake from 9am to 1am local time (UTC+11), if that influences when you're able to talk. :)

hi! i might be intrested! although most of my workflow is really messy in terms of things so big apoligies when it comes to that, i'm also doing some of the writing for my game but it'd be nice for some extra help since im doing basically everything else in my project..  my disc user is lobstermagazine and i'll tell more about my plans if thats fine? :D
