Lona reclassified as a horror game?

Seriously, the art speaks for itself. Its like 'Darkest Dungeon' that actually lets your characters have a bad ending.
The thing that drew me into this game was the unapologetically BRUTAL horror elements.
The lewd bits are just window dressing
Even the "friendly" human areas feel oppressive and hostile

Just... why?;) If LonaRPG has some dark violence moments without any jump scare that doesn't mean that this is a regular horror game. You're not going to say that Bloodborn is a horror game are you? LonaRPG and Bloodborn are quite similar because both were inspired by Lovecraft and Dark Fantasy, they are both rpgs, there are also nasty moments in these games, and even some scary moments... (BTW - Bloodborn has some jump scare moments) but they are not a horror games. Usually a game is called horror game when it doesn't have an RPG system and in most cases tries to scare you. In most of horror games you don't even have a weapon to defend yourself or... this weapon doesn't really work to kill somebody like Alien: Isolation. In short... such games usually make you feel vulnerable instead of level up and fight back. There is a free horror game called -> SCP Containment Breach... just play it and you will understand why LonaRPG is not a horror game (I warn you, this game can be very scary).

"no jump scares"

I beg to differ...

Are you scared of this?

Are you not?

Emmm...whyy...yyyyyy?

There was more like a humor in this Elise scene than something scary.
There was not even any scary "Jump Scare" sound or very scary animation.

...even the explosion of mine that was hidden behind the boxes during Cecily’s rescue quest scared me more than big funny face of Elise;)
