As intelligent as Aura is, I would of already figured out Luciela's identity and killed her in real life so I would not have her annoying ass screeching her catchphrases x 10^100 every time she chimes in any conversation.
That still doesn’t change the fact she is a shitty character that’s a shallow stereotype who is flatter than the chest of a thirsty lesbian rock (although far less compelling). Which, to be fair, is pretty much every character in this game. (Go ahead and try to prove me wrong on that.)
Anyway, play Hardcoded, if you aren’t a coward who’s afraid of finding a woman with a penis attractive.
She is already openly hostile before the brainwashing starts to kick in.
And she would not of learned what happened to the previous demon king until much later. As far as it seems to be, it would only apply to the current active demon king. Spoiler already failed their quest. It also seems more then one time heroes have been summoned for the previous demon kings. I am pretty sure a demon king has killed a hero in the real world more then once if they where already doing demon king things in Roya. Nothing stopping them from doing it in reality.
Aura knows that the curse is for the purpose of brainwashing her. And the one talking to her knows way too much about earth and its lingo to be a native of Roya. Anyone that knows they are having their self destroyed and warped are not going to just stand around and let it happen. Especially if they know the end result is turning into a bimbo.
Alicia's sudden investment irl is already a blatant red flag. Inner/helpful Aura already expressed the desire to kill Richard and Alicia not specifically in Roya alone. Her heroic/justice complex alone would of been enough to do it if she realized the threat the curse had on personal life. She seems like she would be smart enough to pull it off and get away with it. Richard and her are seen to be on the same page about a lot of things. The more dangerous thing is unlike Richard she did not need brainwashing to get to that point, Alicia was already disturbed by the inner true self from the beginning.
To provide some mild criticism to your point, I know for a fact some people would like to be turned into a bimbo, although not the kind in this game.
Also, I will just say that I like female character who are toxic and messy, but I still think Alicia sucks as a character.
Like, I am a fan of Vriska Serket, a character who if you recognize you probably absolutely hate or also are a fan of. She is awful and I love her for it.
Of course, it could also just be bias towards the media they are in.
Not killing Alicia is very inline with Aura's character, and it doesn't have anything to do with being prude or morally good or anything like that.
Spoilers below.
She's arrogant and prideful, time and time again it's been shown through the game.
There's a reason why getting the Curse of Pride didn't do a single thing on her, she's already full of it.
Go back to the first conversation when Alicia infiltrates her mind and meets with the Guide Aura. The Guide Aura literally says she will help her corrupt herself, because she already expects to fail. Because she's too proud to ever believe Alicia could overpower her willpower.
And yes, you might find that stupid or annoying, but it's definitely not out of character.
Especially cause the game showed so many times how Aura isn't that different in her character from the Demon Generals. Except she's on the side of good instead of evil.
I for one really like this character flaw of hers. Makes her more memorable than just some pure good girl who gets corrupted just because she was unlucky or "punished for doing good". She was too proud and either gets punished for it, or not, depending on your choices.
