couldnt shoot gun on laptop and whenever i did it made an empty sound not a gun shooting, dont understand controls at all. Tried shooting at the golden words but made no differnece

Yeah I was having this problem too, checked out the controls, apparently you're supposed to right click but the controls were so jank on the touchpad that I started balding from stress. Save yourself the trouble, use a mouse.
