Foreword.

Hello! You could see me in one of those on this jam. The fact is that I develop that game as a team with a newbie in gamejams, but I do this myself.
I love the game 2048. I often play it. And I had an idea, what if we make my own 2048, but with that we get into the theme of this jam. And here I am!
Let's start!

Day 1: The basic mechanics.

Today I created the basic mechanics of the game 2048, it was not difficult because there are a lot of lessons on the Internet. I chose a lesson about a two-dimensional game and changed it to a three-dimensional one.
So far, the whole difference from the classic 2048 is that there are no numbers on the blocks. Inconvenient? Well there is one. But very soon I will add graphics and it will look very cool! I promise!

All reports will be executed as GIF animations.

Day 2. Adding graphics.

The entire base of the game is ready, now I will polish it and add graphics. Now 5 models are ready, chicken, chicken, in-shell chicken, egg and microorganism. Tell me what can a chicken evolve into? Ostrich? Parrot? I'm confused... I will not write much today, I think that everything is clear. The only thing I want to add is, I tried to extend the models of their Spore, but I think I will break the agreement by adding them to my game.

Oh yes, and the GIF animation of course. The colors will still be corrected, so do not pay much attention to the fact that the chicken appears green :)

Day 3. Environment and beauty.

Hello again! Today I will tell you about how I thought of this order of evolution. At first, it seems logical, but after 5 steps you think, “What the hell! What's wrong with this developer! Why did the chicken suddenly become a parrot!”. The answer is simple and obvious. I am not good at modeling and I used what I could find. In general, the plan was this: a microorganism - an egg - a hatched chick - a chick - a chicken - an eagle - a griffin - anything else - a wyvern - a small dragon - a big dragon.

But I could not find a suitable griffin, a wyvern and I could not modulate them myself either. It was sad, so I started introducing replacements. It turned out stupid, but funny. And yes, I plan to create a level system, maybe it will be interesting, but not as part of the jam. I just won’t have time (although there’s still a week ahead of hmmm).
Oh yeah! I did post processing, it seems to me that looks a lot cooler. But to judge you. Share your opinion in the comments on this topic. I really need your feedback. If there is a feedback, then it works easier, more fun and faster. Guys, let's help each other!
And yes, you can already play the non-final version. To do this, download all the files from the google drive folder at this link. Put in a place convenient for you and run the executive file 2048. Get a fun!

And of course the gameplay GIF for you! I stepped a little when playing this, I hope this is not critical for you!

Day 3 and 4: Playtests and new features.

Hello again. Gone for two days, I'm sorry. Conducted game tests and added new features to the game. Namely, the conclusion on the side of the already collected evolutions so that you are not confused about what comes after. Also added audio and menus.
This time, the report is a video file, because you need to listen to the sound :)

P.S. As always, you can leave your feedback here or on my Instagram!

Thanks to my testers: Maria Maribor and Nikolay Sayansky.
If you also want to participate in the play test before the release of the game, write to me!
