You can run it on joiplay if you download the zip file and disable joiplay cheats, as far as I'm aware. You can find discussion of it here:

I don't have an android device myself, so I can only offer secondhand advice here. People on the discord may be able to help more if the stuff there doesn't.
I do use a similar no grinding model to TLS as I personally think it's a good model. I do think it's reasonably straightforward in terms of getting most exp, though, and you'll never get your level checked for story events etc.
Hello Lord Fonte Games, the arquive here on itch is with the patch folder wrong, its Patch Folder/(its also with no settings.txt) and thats why its bugged for the joiplay players(probably). The public 1.5.1 right now is like that. You run the game it creates a "Patch Folder/" that the games does not read and its also with nothing on it.
That file stores your settings and has to be updated, so I can't really include that with the game. It would just include my settings. The settings file is rebuilt from your save file if you don't have one in a normal installation. If it does somehow cause issues with joiplay, that's kind of unavoidable.
Either way, people have reported successfully playing it on joiplay, so I can't really speak to whatever makes it work or not beyond the things I've posted, but I know it can work.
Ahh, kk. No worries.
Hmm... Nothing about the PatchData file structure should have changed between this update and the last, so I'm slightly confused. Looking at the recent .zips, they all seem to be similar in terms of having the folder or not (namely not). Are you saying it would be helpful if the directory did exist by default?
200+ Days late // One fix I found is by renaming that PatchData/ into PatchData and opening the game again in Joiplay // That should nudge the script in the game into creating a folder with a Settings.txt that its looking for // You should be able to run and play the game now..... Saving this for people who wants to play this in android...don't know how it came to be might be the case in Joiplay itself...checked the folders again and saw two folders now that had been created mainly "PatchData/" and "PatchData" with "PatchData" having the missing Settings.txt on it // I'm assuming that before the script in the game creates this PatchData folder with the Settings.txt inside Joiplay somehow goes first? And it confuses itself?? No clue how it works but that's my best guess...anyways game works now have fun lmao
