  • This is a great little game, great job on thinking outside the box on the theme interpretation! Being the monster at the middle of the maze, luring the enemies to their doom is a great story point to start the game on. Gameplay wise, placement and room functions worked as described. I loved that the base expansion resource is also your HP. Having that dual challenge of making sure you've got enough rooms set up to defeat the next wave and still make sure you've got a buffer in case one gets through is a great game loop. I ended up using mostly monster rooms to defeat enemies as the slow room didn't seem to provide enough value and the trap rooms didn't do enough damage, even with the roguelike upgrade points. Addressing how rooms interact, and maybe adding a placement combo mechanic might be a fun addition to the game to add an extra element of player enablement and challenge. For the DoT room, it would have been great to see some effects such as arrows shooting across the room or some other effect. GDD was well written with designs described implemented accurately in the game. For Music and SFX, the chiptune track was a good fit to the game style, though it would have been nice to get one that didn't have the voice watermark. Overall, great implementation on the concept, the game was fun!

Got me to play a few cycles through and made it to hard. Solid start to something great potentially. Sometimes I saw blue slow working other times I wasn't sure if it was. You may know this bug already but you can brick the continuation of rooms by building into a corner of other rooms. Nice job!

Thanks for playing and appreciate you taking your time to leave some feedback 😊

Blue room and the whole building system with more QoL for the player is absolutely something we wish we had more time to work on.

Other also mentioned better indicators for the player what is happening, how healthy are adventurers at any point etc

An incremental (roguelite?) dungeon builder game, nice.

I like the idea of you, the player, being a the actual dungeon.

The game does not need some more polish/feedback to the player, and maybe a fixed point from where the adventurers arrive. Right now, with poor timing, you place a room right when an adventures spawns at the beginning of the previous room.

Overall cool concept, works well enough, good job.

Thanks for playing!

We wanted to make what happens in each room a bit more informative for the player, but unfortunately we ran out of time.
