Novice

Please explain why your team qualifies for the category you chose.
I have never done a gamejam before, and have been learing unity for about 11 months now. I think that makes me a novice?

How does your game relate to the theme?
TBH, it's not great. I had a story that was about charming the moon and getting powers, but it's not in the game. I tried to make it as "charming" as possible, and in the second level you recieve a "Moon Charm" as a weapon.

Specify any and all pre-made assets in your submission.
I used a character controller for moving and jumping... that's it.

Feedback?

I would like feedback and will reach out to review it after the jam.

Where can we contact you?

Anything else you would like us to know?
Thanks for putting this on! I'm exhausted but really proud of finishing something by the deadline.

By submitting, you and your team agree to all rules listed.

Your cover image suspiciously looks like something an AI would do. And based on what I saw on the game and after a quick analysis, there are a bunch of obvious red flag which looks like typical AI bias if you look closely.

In fact some AI detection tools flag this picture at more than 75%.

So my question is : do you made that yourself ?

Developer

It definitely was AI! I used AI for the cover art and for the background of Level 1. The rest was drawn my me. Sorry for not including that in the description!

Oh dang, just re-read the rules. Looks like that wasn't allowed. Thanks for letting me know.

The judge are basically geeks level max, they would have seen it at the first glance, hope they did'nt see it already ! Yeah there are so many rules, maybe the jam with the most rules I ever seen I think, because there are prizes.

Developer

Thanks for the heads up!! I reached out to them and told them. Luckily they said I could replace it so I swapped the art out. Makes sense about the prizes.

Anyway, thanks for playing my game and letting me know!
