Advanced

Please explain why your team qualifies for the category you chose.
I'm a solo dev. My itch games are all hobby projects. But I've been doing a lot of game jams over the last 2 years, and most of them were shorter than a week. :) So if you follow the boxes I'm advanced.

How does your game relate to the theme?
The core mechanic is about opening doors using a "Tumbler Charm" you carry. Also, the game is designed to be very charming, with a cute moth companion who picks locks and is in love with the protagonist.

Specify any and all pre-made assets in your submission.

Feedback?

I would like feedback and will reach out to review it after the jam.

Where can we contact you?
I'm on the discord Hugbug, hugbug3195.

Anything else you would like us to know?
The main innovation I'm trying with this game is that you play it on TWO DEVICES. You control Locke (the heroine) with mouse and keyboard. You control Pick (the moth) with a touch device like a phone. So judges will need a phone with a QR code scanner.
In the very unlikely scenario where I place, I'd like to donate any prizes to Cupertino Game Dev Club, or add them to the raffle, to encourage beginner creators to keep learning and loving game dev. THANKS!

By submitting, you and your team agree to all rules listed.
