Progression is a Bullet Hell game about the concept of code within code, where the player plays as a Bug that destroys aspiring game developer LoungeRat’s magnum opus. The lines and lines of code LoungeRat has embedded within more code represent the endless process of trying to wrangle code into order, and Bug emerges from contradictions within code. This cycle of creation and destruction will forever recur as long as LoungeRat keeps developing the game in spite of Bug. How long can LoungeRat’s spirit last though?
