- I like the moving blockages mechanic. It might help less experienced Evil Wizard Players if the collection of the items needed for the 'Universal Solvent' (notes E, G, & H) were to precede the note for the mixing of the potion (note F). I assume 'menhir' are the sacred goblin standing stones; although this is unclear. So too is how the Heroes will know if their Quest Treasures (Artifacts) have 'recharged' and if these return to use for the players. Overall this is an inventive Quest that sees our Heroes make their way to the central room to confront Bokaj. Depending on which version of HeroQuest, the experience of the players and the number of official Quests completed, the loss of use of Artifact could significantly hobble a team of players, perhaps significantly to their detriment. Overall this Quest has a number of interesting elements, but could do with a little polish to make accessible to all.
- What a great concept for a quest - the constantly shifting barriers and seeking of ingredients makes this a rather epic adventure for our heroes - but one that could play out in so many different ways as well! Would the barrier/wall blocks be visible throughout... or something the heroes have to reveal piece by piece I wonder! Well done and good luck!
