The Idea
We were interested in whether we could make a balanced game where there are literally 99 tiny avatars battling against 1 big avatar (we actually ended up stacking the odds more against the 1%, by having 396v1). This led to lots of interesting asymmetric choices for the differences between the 1%er and 99%ers. Powerups reflect the way that social/economic/political/etc. constructs can benefit the many or the few depending on who they are designed for.

How to download and play
Download. Unzip. Run (on Windows). You need two screens at at least two controllers to play (we only tested PS4 controllers, but it /should/ work with almost any Windows compatible standard controller).

Inspiring Art
No. But there was inspiration from Pikmin and Evolve. For the social commentary aspect of powerups, some (simple) influence from talks by Noam Chomsky.
