  • This was good, I just wanted to give some general feedback: 1. Most of the time, the Main Menu is the first thing that people will see when opening a game, so it can be worth spending a bit of time to make sure that it isn't forgotten. 2. Think about adding Instructions or "How to Play" to your Main Menu. 3. Think about adding a fast forward, or game speed toggle. This is especially required during the night time parts where you can't do anything but watch. 4. Think about adding difficulty options. This will also help you when balancing the game, as you won't have to have 1 difficulty to suit all players. 5. There didn't seem to be a lose state/screen. In projects like this, it can be worth spending time beforehand thinking about what you want to do, and the flow of your game and aiming for that. Try to make a polished vertical slice of your game, and then think about adding extras, as opposed to trying to do many things but not truly finishing any of them. Like I said though, this was good and something you should be proud of!
  • Ambitious project with significant progress made, be aware that games development is often about compromise - scope versus quality of execution and polish
  • The project suffers from lots of bugs and the controls are unintuitive. These hold it back a lot more than you might expect. Scope creep can kill an otherwise good project. I hated rating the game so low because I see lots of potential in it, but it needs debugging and lots of UX improvements to let the game in your head out for us to see.
