  • Switching between characters without any clear onscreen indicator made this very hard to play, but other than that, the game lacked features and had a few bugs which means it felt like there was little attempt to make it fully fleshed out. The idea behind the game may have hindered a little as controlling multiple characters in real time is very difficult, aggravating even, even when there is a really good user interface.
  • This project is very buggy. The zombie got himself stuck and with the key following behind him it was impossible to pick up. Players spawn off screen and cannot be seen Players can spawn stuck in geometry Players can spawn trapped. The game needs a tutorial/into system This project needs a lot of work if you intend to send it to potential employers.
  • Overall: Nice little idea to get the player to utilise multiple characters to get the chest open, whilst avoiding the zombie. Unfortunately the game was quite buggy. At times I couldn't collect a heart (it was on the map, but the character walked through it) , which I needed to revive the character with the key. Also the chest spawned within some rocks and was not reachable. Suggestions: - When generating the world ensure items are reachable by all characters. - Fix the problem with the zombie which has it keep popping back to a previous position. - Build up the number of characters over time. There didn't seem a lot of point having more than 2 character in the levels I played.
  • I wanted to give some general feedback: 1. You knew you wouldn't have long, so you decided to make something small that could grow, that's good. You should still try to aim to make that as polished as possible though. Sometimes a smaller polished game will be better than a bigger game which is buggier. 2. As part of this polish, you should aim for some basics - "How to Play" or "Controls", Main Menu tidy (so that it doesn't say "Generate World"). 3. For next time, be mindful of different resolutions and how your game will look. In 1920x1080 its easy to miss the starting spawn of Player 1 and Player 4. 4. I know you were short on time, but try to double check your report after exporting to make sure they were no export issues. With the time you had, I think you should be proud of what achieved!
