  • Excellent demonstration of candidates programming ability. Features included and inventory system, a crafting system, field of view on enemies, and a bunch of potions which change the players abilities briefly. My only complaint would be that the zombie character moved too fast and got me every time I played, but maybe that's just me being a little rubbish. Well done. Great effort and it is clear that a lot of time was put into the development of this entry.
  • Amazing stuff, clearly a lot of effort gone into this and love what you turned the base project into. Lot of polish and features in here. Loved the report too. Had a few minor issues such as being able to bring up the crafting menu and then navigate to new rooms while the crafting screen is still active. Also clicks don't seem to register if you travel couple squares north of the character.
  • Really enjoyed this game. The atmosphere is really tensed due to a great work of sounds, ambiance and visual effects. The UI and UI interactions could be a bit improved especially if you click on an interactable object there is no way to cancel other than clicking on the tiny back button. I found Roxy and I had a great experience.
  • This was really good. I just wanted to give some general feedback: 1. Reading your report, you had a good understanding/plan for your time management. Make sure you allocate a decent portion of time at the end though to find and fix bugs, and to apply any balancing. I know you'll fix bugs as you go, but its still important to make sure the final thing is as bug free as possible. Sometimes its better to lose a feature but have the game be more polished. 2. Think about adding a How to Play screen along with Options (especially as you have sound). 3. Avoid using Exit button in the game or on the win/lose screen. Change it to a "Return to Menu" button, make it easy for people to keep playing the game. 4. Random world generation can be nice, as it makes each play through different, but be careful not to use it to much and to have certain rules when spawning things so that rooms don't look odd, and their's a clear path for the play. Like I said though, this was great and something you should be proud of!
  • I feel the game would have been a bit easier to read with a small tutorial and on screen popups or feedback. Though that first screen is supposed to provide that, I had difficulty making the popup appear on that first character (expected to do more than click on him and even then, sometimes the popup didn't appear) and find where the door was without looking at the minimap. That top false path confused me too. After that, interactions were clear and expected with the AI, lots of rooms to explore and multiple themes. I had fun playing it and think it's a great improvement on the starting project. Thanks for your hard work.
  • There are quite a few good things in this game. Multiple environments, line of sight, crafting. I found the pathfinding sometimes a bit in the way of playing the game, but otherwise I found enjoyable exploring the space, whenever I didn't have a ghost trying to kill me while screaming.
