  • Overall I really liked your animation the way you have attempted to add animalness to the movement, I do like the little hop back during recovery it does feel a bit more animal like making the character feel like a faun. I thought your planning and way of breaking down what you wanted from each move and how they would work together was excellent. The animation feel consistent and well thought through because of this. The level of presentation and documentation was also excellent, i hope this was a great learning exercise the final result is a strong piece of work for your portfolio. Well done. One thing I thought that could be improved was the hold at the end of the power up she is looking down maybe having her head tilted up a little so she is keep eye contact with the enemy would feel stronger.
  • Amazing work! From research to development to final, seems like you are in the right mindset and skill to start working in the industry already. The main thing I would focus now is making sure the character carries the momentum from one move to another or from one animation to another. Some of your transitions, from charge to idle for instance, were a bit rough and the character just stop moving abruptly instead of carrying the momentum to a settle and then to the actual idle. Keep up the good work and I'm sure you'll be hired quite soon ;) PS: The glitches you were having with some bones seems to be due to gimbal lock, do a search on it and you'll find plenty of trick to minimize the times it happens as well as ways to fix it. Overall this is something that will happen every now and then and sometimes you just have to brute force a fix (fix the poses and key on 1's).
