  • Super slick and powerful piece of animation, love that the idle feels ready for action it is smooth and you can see the quality in it, I think the fact that you acted it out and shot the reference is why it works so well. As a complete set of moves I think you have achieved a seamless high quality game ready set of animations. I also like the fact that you pushed the release to include a series of attack I agree that they can be a bit difficult to read but it's great to see you push your self and be true to the inspiration from Naruto.
  • I read all of your documentation and watched all the videos, I appreciate that it is very understandable and complete. Showing all your references and using video of yourself as well is good. In the technical aspects, I think you are very close to being able to handle junior animation work, your setup had some downsides which you stated at the end of the documentation. If you are able to troubleshoot these kinds of situations and get it fully cleaned up I think you will do fine. The animation is overall very good based on the direction you were going for. Adding the particle effects to be triggered with the animation definitely helps sell the animation better and almost conceals the one set of animations that can use a little work. Everything is very fluid and flows nicely, except the "warping" animations where she attacks from multiple angles to the enemy need a little more polish, there's a little loss of fluidity in her movements there. A little more transitional movement having her do some slight reaction and subtle "bounce" to the warp movements will fix that. Overall, I think if you polish your animations just a tiny bit more and are able to overcome the small technical issues, I think you would make a great animator. In addition, I do recommend practicing some other aspects of the pipeline to get a more solid background with them.
