  • Great work! I like the effort to create the set were the animation takes place, I think you just missed the chance of adding a prop for the character to hit. Animation looks interesting and entertaining. What stood out for me was the kick, specially the second one feels quite weak. Removing a few frames from the leg spin there would make the kick as fast as the first one, giving it more power. The reference video is great and I the animatic you made from it works quite well, sadly you missed some of that energy and didn't quite follow the poses, specially during the spin. Another part I would like to see a bit more work is in the power up pose, it feels you could tweak it a bit to make it more dynamic. Also the power up pose gives the impression that the character is about to rush forward but instead he just takes a few steps before the kicks, I think you could add a more exaggerated/cartoony movement there.
