  • Nice work, you have done a fair amount of research of how a modern sewing studio would look like and it shows in your final work. Good use of artistic creativity when texturing the different fabrics and the dress. Don’t be afraid to add more geometry to your models as some look very polygonal like the rolls of fabric and the ribbons. Most games nowadays have a lot higher polygon budgets and even games designed for phones can get away with a lot more. Be considerate of the screen space an object takes and optimise it accordingly. I’d suggest changing the shading model of your translucent fabric material from the default one to either clear coat or subsurface profile as those should give you better results that match Substance Painter closer. Good understanding of technical skill. Your topology looks fairly clean, could look into retopologizing the different cloths and the dress for a more even and optimised topology. High to low poly workflow is good, you’re managing to capture some nice details. There are some areas where you could have increased the detail of the objects by packing the UV island tighter. It was nice to see you had good texel density throughout the scene. Better lighting could take this scene to the next level. At the moment the lights that are illuminating the dress seem to be coming from the wrong angles for the way the ring lights are set up and are very sharp. Usually in studios they use diffused soft lighting which looks more natural. I’d also look into decal textures such as leaks, dirt, grime, cracks and rust which could be present in an old, repurposed building. Documentation is presented clearly, making it easy to judge.
