  • Really nice scene with some thoughtful storytelling. You’ve provided good evidence of your research and concept, although I’d suggest gathering some more examples of Amsterdam’s architecture to create a more authentic environment. Good use of texture and colour. You can look into adding more varied grime and dirt to really breakup the textures. Adding moss where the edge of the river would be or creating stronger roughness maps for some of the assets could really help bring your environment to life. Try to always consider where to place your UV seams. For example, the fallen tree has some visible seams that could have been hidden under the tree, where nobody could see them. Good grasp of technical skill. Going with the modular approach was a good decision. It’s used by many companies and is a very good skill to have. I would recommend always having your pivot point on the grid in your modelling software before exporting your modular piece, so it’s easier to snap in Unreal afterwards. Many of your pieces don’t align or look like they’re floating, which can break immersion. Decals work really well with the modular workflow to break up the repetition. You already used some leaf decals and I think it would be beneficial to expand on that and add some more dirt, cracks, leaks and damage to the buildings and surrounding area. Documentation is presented clearly and is easy to view. Keep up the good work.
