  • The project overall is great! I love the style of the characters, and quality wise they look ready to be put in a game. Nice breakdowns in the documentation including how/why things were done and also nice to see how you tackled problems along the way. Good use of vfx to push it that bit further, and I really like the pose of the healing druid with the staff in the air. I think my main feedback for this would be on the composition for some of the beauty shots. The ones where the two characters have their heads together is quite difficult to read, it’s a bit like there’s too much happening at once and I’m not really sure where to look. I can see in your documentation your inspiration for this shot, but in the concept image the two characters are more side on and easily distinguishable from each other with their own silhouettes. I think your shots in this pose could have benefitted also from being side-on to the characters for readability. However overall your presentation is really nice. I like the consistency of the borders around each render and in you documentation. Well done on this project!

I would love to see an animated series with these two. I love the concept you developed for it and the ZBrush work was so good! Your documentation was a great read.
