  • The game really needed an exit option, not only from the main menu, but also in-game for when you get stuck in the trees for example. The AI was actually not bad and your implementation is not far from a professional game with a more arcade racing style - it would have been a good idea though to have two splines around the track to give the AI the possibility of overtaking by switching between the two. In fact I would have stuck with AI only (I couldn't really test the multiplayer anyway). I thought the start needed more of a pause, I seemed to drop in the game, miss the start and inevitably get rammed by the car behind. I liked the pickups, and also the implementation of a joystick/controller as well as keyboard. One other tip on the documentation - it was a bit long, and all the detail about your struggles with finding time and motivation to work on the project was a bit of a put-off, you would never find that in a professional GDD, always keep it positive.

  • Liked the aesthetic (but unfortunately not a criteria on it's own), otherwise a ok racing game without anything specifically original about it. Nearly gave up playing it though with the start screen being really hard to understand.
