It's an interesting Idea execution is a bit hit or miss. I think you hamstrung your presentation by going black and white, it as it highlighted the lack of tonal range in the scene.
Your textures were also a bit all over the place once you looked closer. For example the wood grain on the table is applied in a uniform planer map almost whilst a large round table wouldn't be built like that. Taking time on your centrepieces is important and the attention to detail etc. Focus more on your level of details in the future, especially when it comes to how objects and materials would look/feel.
The spirit of the movie is here, at least from the memory I have of it. There are some technical issues, like the wood texture of the main table. It needs separation. It can't be made from the same piece of wood. The table is too big for that. So watch out for fiber direction.
The lighting is probably good but light intensity is too low. The scene shouldn't be this dark.
