  • This is a fascinating and harrowing use of the LARP format to emulate the reclamation of agency and identity by victims of serious crime. I'm not familiar with the structured roleplay of LARP and its conventions, but the prompt ideas and the concept of the game did really pique my interest. I can see players really using their creative faculties to stretch out the identities and histories of their assigned victims, and investing in those characters. The subversion of the facilitator as killer to play on the memories provided by participants is very devious. I think seeing this format played out by participants familiar with the LARP would be a very interesting and psychologically intense exercise in character-building and roleplay. I'm  very glad you used a lot of safety mechanisms to ensure that these ideas could be explored sensitively, and I think any concerns about the nature of the subject matter could be managed well by a facilitator using the structure and techniques suggested in the guide. As a LARP game, this is likely to have niche appeal, but I really appreciate the unconventional platform submitted to this jam and the clear effort and passion involved in the design of this scenario.

Thanks for submission of this really unique LARP scenario to SCREAMWORLD!
