  • All round good effort, custom ship design, online matchmaking, etc.  Would be nice to see some enemy units to shoot and some more sfx.  The presentation / UI could also do with some polish, feels a bit to clinical at the moment but still good.  I like how you display the amount of ammo on the ship itself rather then have some UI element depicting this.

I found this game to be very interesting to play, while it is limited with visual elements if focuses more on the game mechanics than visual impact.  It took me a short while to figure out how to play with building ships and using resources correctly but this game reminds me a lot of the game “Final Core” which has a similar concept.

Multiple choice options to build a custom ship with limited resources helps add that extra bit of personal touch, the Main Menu system is also constructed well with the ability to change game settings while in-game.  I found the arena where the players battle to be a little simplistic with a basic sun and planet, I feel if more was added it would create a good environment.  I am also happy with the choice of sounds and music, although not critical for a games function it does help break the silence.

Documentation is also constructed well showing stages of development but screenshots would have helped explain better as I did get a bit lost without someone to fall back on.

    Summary

I enjoyed this game very much, it’s simple construction and functionality provided an entertaining experience with a lot of focus one game mechanic and not graphics.  There is certainly room for improvement but then again there always will be in game development.  As a YouTuber and game developer myself we consider it a pleasure to try your games and I am pleased to have had the opportunity to try your game.

    Thank you.
