I gave your game a go and I found the 3D application for this game very good, the concept of sailing and fishing is something I have not seen in this game challenge yet, there were some problems however with the game, everything seemed to work ok but I was not able to actually hook any fish.  I suddenly got a surprising shock when I was being followed by cubes but as I could not catch the fish they just went away.  There was a limited UI used but instead of the traditional buttons you went for a more interactive option and introduction which gave the game a bit more of a tranquil feeling.

I agree the lack of sounds does put it down a little as this would help break the silence.  While you have some documentation in your itch.io website about your progress with the game there was no other documentation submitted regarding actual game stages of development or screenshots other than the one on your itch page, this should be added to help better explain how you built the game.

    Summary

The game itself works ok apart from the reeling in bit which I could not do but needs more in terms of art assets and sounds.  There is certainly room for improvement but then again there always will be in game development.  As a YouTuber and game developer myself we consider it a pleasure to try your games and I am pleased to have had the opportunity to try your game.

    Thank you.

  • Love the idea, shame there was not more to do.

  • Has some very nice features, the boat moves well, I like the fact the sails + rudder animate & move and you've managed two camera views.  However I feel the core mechanic stills requires further work.  Need to make it more satisfying to fish, and bring in some rewards (eg. flashing UI elements).
