The mechanic is fun but pretty straightforward. Maybe the recipe book can contain different recipes for different guards, or if there could be a way to get certain items in another way than picking them up there would be more diversity and exploration for the player.
I love how smooth it go´s, maby sound of a guard or a cell mate that you have to sneak around of wloud make it more interesting. as for the actual mechanic as I presume is finding a donout, maby experiment a bit more whit it.
