First of all, damn we really had the same idea about a planet that has 1 acre of surface are HAHAHAHAAH.

And now for the actual feedback for the game. To take things out of the way, audio was literally perfect to me, lovedthe sound design and the ambience, real 10/10 there. On the side of visuals, I think they could be better, but not in the sense of better resolution or better design, I think if you went for a PS1 look with really pixelated things (but with still the visual clarity needed) the game would be exponentially more appealing to the eye of the players. Also just a little thing to point out, damage numbers are hard to see, I only noticed them in my 2nd playthrough (they are cool as hell though dont get me wrong, I just wanted to be able to see them more clearly.)

Now, for the gameplay side of things. The main loop of the game is awesome, just the vampire survivors type of game you can play over and over without getting really tired of it, but I do have some things to point out. The hits on the chicken, although the sound effect is perfect, really feels a little underwhelming. A little camera shake, or even a hit stop (which is really easy to do in ue5, or at least It was for me when I tried it in another game) would really make them feel much better. Now, I do think (If im not mistaken) that you don't heal when you "level up". I think that's the main issue that I have encountered while playing, I would recommend either lowering the chicken damage (although I think this is fine numerically-wise) or, a design choice I would prefer, make some points of the map spawn an item or be able to be used to heal. Now, this may seem a confusing critique (cause I said I kinda didn't like that you don't heal when you level up xd) but I think that's fine as long as you provide a secondary form of healing to keep the player engaged in the first rounds(maybe make It just a few uses of healing to get through those first levels?).

And lastly, congratulations on the game. I really enjoyed It and think It was pretty well executed for the time we had for the jam, hope you keep this spirit up in future jams! Much love to the team ;).

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! About the visuals i agree with you, i wanted to do so much more for the visuals but there was no time!  There are for sure some things missing, if we had more time we would add one or two more enemies and a boss maybe, also some some small tasks arround the planet to help you improve/upgrade/level up,  which would force you to move arround. Also there is a way to heal, if you choose life steal upgrade, we did not add any other healing methods to increase the replayability. Thanks again, i wish we had this feedback before the deadline hehe.
