  • Thanks for your entry into the game jam! Oh man did I feel the rip and tear in this one! Great concept and amazing execution on theme! I had fun playing and clearing the level. Thankful that you have a mouse sensitivity setting as the default was a bit high for smooth control. Aiming and landing hits on the enemy was a learning experience but once I adjusted mouse sensitivity it was well within reason. No crosshair made it a touch more difficult starting out. Love the art, felt very south park Canadian vibe. Music was fitting for the theme and game. *Chef's kiss* As noted the level is a proof of concept, did not understand the garden setting theme but it still worked for the demo. Would have liked to see more detail in the GDD but appreciate the effort into the final product. Thank you for the meu settings and control layout! Great job and thanks for making a fun game!

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarise your game!
Shotonic Posession is a 2.5D boomer shooter heavily inspired by the original DOOM, but instead of a guy wielding many guns, you're a gun wielding many guys. To recover health you posess a new host, otherwise just shoot the bad guys.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The game fits the theme pretty literally, you play as a sentient weapon that posesses your enemies thus stealing their health pool.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
The balancing of the guns is something I'm proud of, the Time To Kill is exactly 2 seconds assuming all shots hit on all 3 weapons, but each one has it's own use cases.
