- The lone uprising was an interesting top-down tactics game and I felt the mechanics were simple enough for any casual gamer to pick it up and enjoy it immediately. I found the window a bit small for comfortable viewing and full-screen mode wasn't an option, which was unfortunate. I really enjoyed the art for the beginning cutscene and thought the enemy design was reminiscent of Beetlejuice or AAH! Real Monsters. Unfortunately, the second stage became broken as I was unable to move my character after multiple tests. I attempted to skip turns to end the problem and was greeted with what sounded like success music, as well as I was able to click enemies in a way which seemed to indicate they were friendly to me. Slight bugs aside, the musical score overall was very pleasant listening for my test runs. Thank you very much for this submission to Pirate Software Game Jam 16.
