Judge feedback

Judge feedback is anonymous.

  • Great basis for a game, the mechanics feel exceptionally smooth and responsive and visually works very well. I look forward to seeing how this looks once you have added the features you wanted to. In terms of your GDD it has a good amount of content, including concept art, and enemy plans could be useful. It would also be good to have a timeline workflow laid out to keep you on track. Would really love to see this once it is more complete!

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarise your game!
The player controls a sword who to move around has to dash. The sword is always pointing towards the mouse and dashes towards it on click. Enemy triangle continue to spawn while your dashing around and to kill them you have to dash towards them but be careful because if they shoot when you're near them it is difficult to dash out of the way in time. The triangles continue to aim at the player and shoot smaller projectile triangles at the player while the player weaves through the bullets and enemies.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You are the sword (the weapon). That is your player

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Smoothness. Due to lack of features the only feedback I want is on how good the base mechanics are.
