  • Hey! You have a really interesting demo here. The game and its story clearly fit the theme of the jam. Game controls were smooth and responsive, so no issues with playability. I really enjoyed the art and music. The simple shapes give an interesting "storybook" feel while not distracting the player too much. You did a great job with the music and sound effects too. Really sets the mood. I also love the floppy hero as a weak point. Shows that the weapon is the main character in this story. The biggest places for improvement I can see are game mechanics and level design. The demo does a good job of showing the basic idea, but I would've loved to see some more variety in mechanics. Looks like you do have some good ideas on the GDD, though! Overall, a great demo that plays well and looks great. I'm excited to see where this goes. Good job!

I like the sound design! It seemed like no matter what I did, my adventurer would get killed.
