Fire the Light's itch.io pageJudge feedback
Judge feedback is anonymous.
- Unfortunately it seems I was unable get the movement to work, I did confirm with other judges that they have the same issue. The colour scheme and artwork looked very appealing from what I was able to see. I would love to see more detail in your GDD, especially in terms of concept art work and level design layouts.

Yes
Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes
Summarise your game!
Scientists in a world of light are attempting to give sentience to the weapons they have made from hard light. You are the weapon. They are testing your sentience by challenging you to complete their course and get to the top. This is a foddian game. It is entirely controlled with mouse movement, left click, and right click. The keyboard pauses the game. Left click allows you to add small forces to your tip. When you hit a wall with your tip, it gets charged and allows you to shoot yourself foward. This grants you the ability to jump from platform to platform when it would otherwise look impossible. (Note: Unfortuately, the web version of the game does not recognize mouse input on the edge of the screen which is pretty important to the game so I added a drop down that makes the game more playable in the web version.)
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Scientists in a world of light are attempting to give sentience to the weapons they have made from hard light. You are the weapon.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
I would say that the controls really fit the genre but they aren't as intuitive in the web version :(
But I did get my friends to do voice acting for the game and have a bunch of different lines / converstions. There's a lot there :)
