- I cannot say that this was all too fun to play. While I can pick up on how you crafted your game, based on what inspired you after looking at your GDD, I had to also look at it to understand the specific controls I needed in order to actually take on enemies. When beginning the game, the only indicator was how to use shards that dropped from the surrounding enemies, not how to gain access to them, so some form of indication there would be nice. As for the themes and their implementation, I found it hard to understand how you implemented them both into this. While I could say alchemy was combination or transformation, I cannot come up with anything to suggest shadow. Overall, I'd like to see if anything here could be expanded upon in order to grasp your interpretation of the themes better, along with more indicators at the start, so the player can experiment with things as a result. All the same, keep up the hard work.
Did you include your Game Design Document as a Google Drive link?

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?

Tell us about your game!
A game where you can cast a shadow and manifest a weapon of shadow that has the exact same shape.
Kill mobs to obtain shards, pick them up. Place the shards on the glass tabletop which is well lit. Manifest your new weapon.
The more shards (and higher level) you use to create your weapon, the higher damage it will have.
This is a prototype, the player is invincible, but the it perfectly shows my idea of the alchemy system I came up with for this Jam. Cast shadows to craft weapons.
